Heavy bending to the board corners and personal (private) library number in blue to the spine of both the book and the dustjacket. The book is mildly cocked forward and has a gentle warping. Interior is clean and unmarked, but a correction label for Pearl M. Baillie's listing on page 203 has caused some warbling to that page and the few close by. Jacket is barely passable with chips, tears, scuffing and a large damp stain to the rear panel. 245 pp., indexed, filled with black and white photos of the dogs. Still a fascinating book despite the condition - reading copy only.
