Pale green boards, backstrip title and front board title, publisher device and silhouette of London skyline in black. Backstrip toned, and a little nicked at head and foot. Front board patchily and just very slightly faded. Tips of upper outer corners of boards slightly bumped and a little curled. Edges of text-block a little age-toned. Half-title and final leaf lightly but quite densely spotted, title-page and page 178 very sparsely so. Binding holding firmly, contents generally clean and tight. VERY GOOD copy in VERY GOOD unclipped dust jacket slightly sunned towards inner edge of front panel, and with a few minor markings also on front panel.

Front cover faintly toned along lower edge, slightly bumped at lower outer corner, and with dust-coloured blemish of depth up to 0.5cm along 1.5cm of upper edge.
