There is a bit of light spotting at head of rear board and bit of splotchy-ness at board feet. 60pp text tight and bright with pencil childlishly written name mostly on one plain red block of red/white checkerboard with vintage line drawings of animals in blue decorated endpapers and pastedowns. 24 full pages of color-popping illustrations throughout. One of the ten book Peter Rabbit Series which is listed on the rear end paper. An anthropomorphic (clothes wearing) red fox named Toby trades up one item at a time from a bumble bee to a rooster to a pig to a cow to a live boy until he gets swapped out for a foxhound who eats him up.
