Striking dust-jacket designed by Luba Litwak with an illustration by Creston Ely, with printed price of $8.95. Author's bookplate to pastedown. Very good in similar wrapper, sunned to spine, worn at crown with with one strip of tape to same. A dystopia set in a world struggling to cope with the rapid pace of technological development. With a hint of one of the story lines in the later abortive television series 'Firefly', a subject of a government project creating 'improved' humans manages to escape, and later attacks the system from within.

Tape marks to front and rear outer boards and tape ghosts to front free end papers. Edges of the page block are darkened and the top and bottom edges have been scraped and roughened. There is a book plate on the front free end paper with "the Phantom" hand written in ink. No interior stamps or marks. All jackets in mylar wraps. Signed by Author(s).
