Boards good condition pink cloth boards with blind tooled detail, colour has faded around the edges, the rear board has some black marks. Page edges good condition top edge darkened, fore and bottom edges lightly tanned, some pages standing proud. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition intact. Paste downs good condition plain. End papers good condition plain, free end papers are tanned and foxed. Title good condition first title page has a b/w vignette 'Capercailzie Shooting' and is lightly tanned and foxed, the text title page is also lightly tanned and foxed. Pages good condition tissue guarded frontispiece 'Ptarmigan Shooting', 3 full-page engraved plates, one plate at page 122 partially detached, lightly tanned and foxed throughout.
