Illustrated with one full-page reproduction of a woodcut by the author as well as several in-text wood engravings. Printed by hand on a Stanhope Press on hand-made paper. Introduction by Philip Hagreen. Housed in a custom folding marbled board fleece-lined box, backed in gold lettered black cloth. Book compartment inside box protected by loose Plexiglas. Untrimmed printed front- and plain back wrappers from the regular issue laid-in. Rippling on inside of front- and rear cover. Small sticker of bookseller pasted on inside of front board. Box with minor rubbing on edges. Near fine condition. Rare edition on the art of silversmithing by Dunstan Pruden (1907-1974), demonstrating the simplicity and clarity of his unique approach.

Taped into card boards, the sections are separating internally. With printed paper labels to the front board - From Dunstan Pruden Ditchling Common, Sussex. Boards are soiled and the printed labels are worn. Some soiling and marks to the inner covers. Dunstan Pruden was a silversmith in the Guild of St Joseph and St Dominic at Ditchling.
