First Edition of this extremely rare pamphlet issued from Windsor after 20 December 1648, while Charles I was awaiting trial. It recounts several events between the 15th and 20th of December, as well as the King's declarations, appeals and actions. This is one of the last publications in Ch arles' name, as his trial would soon begin on the 20 January 1649, leading t o his public execution on 30 January. Pamphlet. Condition: Very Good+. Three sewn pamphlets; pp. 20 (Channing, "Publick Fast"), 15 (Channing, "Humiliation"), 18 (Osgood, "Solemn Protest," Second Edition). All are published in 1812. All are in VG+ to Near Fine condition, with just the occasional tiny spot of soiling here and there, or some very light chipping along the edges. Channing was Minister of the Church in Federal Street, and Osgood the Pastor of the Church in Medford.
