Dust wrapper, a very good copy. *This, though modified in some ways, is a re-issue of the fourth edition of Sowerby's Conchological Manual of 1852. The 29 plates of the original have been augmented by a dozen plates from d'Orbigny Dictionnaire Universal d'Histoire Naturelle, 1839-1849. Two tables have been omitted and the layout somewhat altered.
