Little Black Squirrel's Big Wish was written by Christine Ernst-Shetler and was illustrated by Polly Slonkosky-Barga. The book has also been signed by the illustrator at the top of the front loose end page. The book was published by Carlisle Printing in 2006 and appears to be a First American Edition though it is not specifically stated as such. It is a hard cover book with laminated pictorial boards and has no dust jacket. It IS an ex-library copy and it's in very good condition but for some library markings. The book is 8 1/4" by10 1/4" and has about 30 glossy pages with larger print and full color illustrations on every page. "Little Black Squirrel is a special squirrel who wishes for a family."
