Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First. Eric Barker (1912 - 1990) was an English comedy actor on radio, television and in films. He is best remembered for his roles in the popular British Carry On films, although he appeared only in the early films in the series, apart from returning for Carry On Emmannuelle in 1978. This copy is near fine in green cloth with silver titles on the spine. Just slight bumping and fading at the spine ends. Darkened areas on both endpapers, apparently where bookmarks or news clipping were laid in. No other marks or damage. The unclipped DJ is very good, with a large chip at the top of the jacket spine and minor chipping and edge wear elsewhere. Inscribed by Barker on the ffep. CH25. Signed. …

Publisher's blue boards with silver lettering to the spine. boards bright and clean. No previous owner inscriptions. Spine tips bruised otherwise a near fine copy in a very good dustwrapper with creasing and wear at the spine ends and with a chip to the top right-hand corner of the back panel (not affecting any lettering).
