Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. Hardcover, First Edition, Signed. 8vo (5.5 x 8.25 in.) An important book at its release and, still, resonates with the whole idea of coming of age. The main female character, Pookie Adams, was played by Liza Minelli in the film version of the book. The free front endpaper has two small staple marks where a request for review was attached. It has been carefully removed and laid into the book. Mr. Nichols signed this copy on the title page below his name. It is hard to find one of these in this condition with signature only. Shipped from Taos, NM, where Mr. Nichols passed away in late 2023. Signed by Author(s).
