    R. Musikhina (illustrator). Original vintage Soviet movie poster for the second part of a four part spy series Ð Ð Ñ Ð Ð¼ÐµÑ / Shchit i Mech / The Shield and the Sword directed by Vladimir Basov based on a book by Vadim Kozhevnikov, who was Secretary of the Soviet Writers' Union, starring Stanislav Lyubshin as a Russian spy working under cover in Nazi Germany (this film was highly influential and inspired many people, apparently including Vladimir Putin, to join the KGB). Great design showing a black and white portrait of a pilot against a black and red background with smaller photographs depicting various scenes and characters from the film on the side, the title and text on the left in stylised red and yellow letters. Horizontal. Very good condition, small tears in top margin. Size: 32.5x52.5cm.
