Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. The stories are all incidents that have occurred in the past. The authors' idea of writing them was not to play the part of a champion of native rights, but to show the effect on aboriginal customs and mentality of contact with our own way of thinking and living. The customs are authentic, and to the legends nothing has been added nor from them anything taken away. The book contains 24 illustrations from photographs. **The book has tanning while the front cover has several small stains, sun fading at the spine and scuffing at the bottom spine.**. Inscribed by Author(s).
