This is the ORIGINAL, hand-painted Kenneth Farnhill cover artwork for the Collins Crime Club title, A Tangled Web. The book, by Nicholas Blake, was later to be published in 1956. Hand painted in red, white and black on white card which in turn is mounted on a white light board. The artwork measures 16.5 cm by 20.5 cm. This piece is in excellent condition. It is clean and fresh. None of the colours have faded and there are no ugly blemishes or marks. The margins of the white card include instructions to the printer, written in pencil, with further instructions and details on a pink slip pasted on the reverse. The piece has been signed by Kenneth Farnhill. Unique. Signed by the Artist.
