In the original color illustrated dust jacket, chip near the head of the spine and some moderate wear at the tips. The story of two little Quaker girls living in Philadelphia just before the Civil War. They play make-believe and wish they could dress brightly as some of the other girls do but eventually we read what happens to make the Quaker bonnet feel light and beautiful to Hannah.
