Red illustrated red book boards, with still bright (but rubbed) gilt titles. Spine cloth is complete but very worn with crown and tail frayed. Corner tips worn through. Illustrated with fabulous delightful bright primary colored illustrations on 'untearable' paper. ( Proved wrong - see photo of blank end-paper of a 2" x 8" missing torn piece). Scattered mild foxing, page margins age-toned. Twelve pages of "Three Tiny Pigs" and ten pages of "Goldenlocks OR The Three Bears" (one page creased); lower front gutter with webbing exposed (cracked hinge see photo).Text block is very tight. A hard to find vintage title.(refer to all David Brett's work). A wonderful collectible item. Priced to reflect imperfections. Protected in a mylar slip.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good +. No Jacket. Red hardcover with inset of pig in medieval dress and title on cover. The book is worn at edges with cardboard showing through at corners and a hole at top fore edge of back cover. Book is lightly soiled with one black spot at top corner of back cover, a diagonal crease to bottom corner of FFE and light soiling throughout. The pages are marked "untearable" and appear linen like. This has two folk tales, The Three Pigs and Goldylocks, illustrated and printed with many colors.
