Stratton, compliments of Lavinia Warren Stratton." Accompanied by a small signature card (6 x 12.5 cm.) with the autograph of "Countess M. L. Magri formerly Mrs. General Tom Thumb Middleboro, Mass.," all in her hand. Slight crease in card, some uneven toning. Lavinia married the Count after the death of Tom. They set up a stand in Middleborough, Massachusetts where she was born and raised.

The backstamp is from Olliver's photography studio in Brooklyn. There is light wear to the upper corners and other minor faults.Count Magri was the stage name of the Italian person of short stature (1849-1920). He married Lavinia Warren (1841-1919), General Tom Thumb's widow, in 1885. Warren was the wife of General Tom Thumb (Charles Sherwood Stratton)and later married Count Magri.
