Rare original broadside printing of this anti-Franklin D. Roosevelt and anti-New Deal poem. Duodecimo, original paper. In good condition with some toning. American statesman and political leader Franklin Delano Roosevelt served as the President of the United States from 1933 to 1945. A Democrat, he won a record four presidential elections and dominated his party after 1932 as a central figure in world events during the mid-20th century, leading the United States during a time of worldwide economic depression and war. While his New Deal programs had their proponents, they were also largely criticized under claims of fascism, conservatism, and communism for increasing the power of the federal government and supplying aid disproportionately toward big businesses and farms, leaving marginalized farm workers without opportunity.
