Al foglio di guardia dedica autografa dell'Autore. Il Dinelli fu Vicario Generale, accademico ordinario e docente di teologia dogmatica e scrittura sacra nel Real Liceo lucchese. Fu tra i pochi lucchesi a scrivere sulla "Pragmalogia", e assai attivo nella polemica antirosminiana sviluppatasi a Lucca nel 1841. 100 gr.

Near contemporary Italian vellum, edges speckled; (contents clean only some slight foxing at front and back of volume). Few lines of contents written in Italian script on front free endpaper and signed "G. Viparelli" on title. The rise of obstetrics in the early modern period had a mixed effect on midwifery. Some midwives clung to their traditional ways. Others embraced the new science and sought retraining. National policies also shaped the contours of midwifery practice. Overall, the art of midwifery could no longer be considered a subdivision of medicine, but must be regarded as a branch of surgery requiring a thorough knowledge of surgical principles. The title of this work does not indicate its comprehensiveness; it is more than an operative midwifery, for it includes much that belongs to a general treatise on the subject. Rastrelli's work, and portrait cannot be found elsewhere suggesting it is commonly an addition to texts, and the title translated is a "moral and civil work" directed by a father to his son. Rastrelli was a noted poet in the latter half of the 18th century. While both parts are exceedingly rare, the first is only located at the Wellcome Library and the Biblioteca della Fondazione Biblioteca San Bernandino in Italy.

Peace treaty imposed by Napoleon on Austria and the UK after his victory at Wagram, known as Treaty of Schönbrunn. It is issued in the name of Eugenie Napoleon in its Italian translation. With the an official signature certifying that is in conformity with the original. "This Treaty is certainly one of the most singular documents in the annals of diplomacy. We see a Christian King, calling himself the father of his people, disposing of 400,000 of his subjects, like swine in a market. We see a great and powerful Prince condescending to treat with his adversary for the brushwood of his own forests. We see the hereditary claimant of the Imperial Sceptre of Germany not only condescending to the past innovations on his own dominions, but assenting to any future alterations which the caprice or tyranny of his enemy may dictate with respect to his allies in Spain and Portugal, or to his neighbours in Italy. 'As a member of the group of enlightened ministers who gave lustre to the reign of Charles III', Campomanes 'laboured for the reform of taxation, the promotion of agriculture and manufactures, the diffusion of education, and the adaptation of Spanish institutions to the needs of the age . His theoretic views and practical efforts strikingly resemble those of his illustrious contemporary Turgot' (Palgrave I, p. 208).
