Book II - Vestals and Vestries, being the Journal of Miss Florence Alice Sitwell. Dustwrapper torn with loss at head of spine, and worn at corners, now covered in mylar to protect it. On the first free endpaper there is an inscription by Osbert Sitwell, dated 1943, in which he dedicates this particular volume to 'The French in Great Britain Fund' and quotes some lines from 'The Vision'. There was a Poets' Reading at the Aeolian Hall on Wednesday, April 14th at 4:45 in Aid of the French in Great Britain Fund - it is quite likely that this volume was donated on that occasion.…
