From the library of the American author, social critic and art professor, Charles Eliot Norton (November 16, 1827 - October 21, 1908), with his signature on intent. The book was given away by him to the Belding Memorial Library, on the inside cover label of the library with the handwritten entry: "Gift of C. E. Norton". Binding slightly stained, capitals and corners bumped, outside folds with small tears. Good copy, very good inside.
