Binding remains firm. Pages are moderately tanned throughout. Moderate tanning to pastedowns and endpapers, with gift inscription to top of front endpaper. Illustrations remain bright and clear. Boards have moderate to heavy edge wear with heavy rubbing to surfaces. Moderate crushing to spine ends. Light fading to spine. Moderate to heavy staining to boards. Book has a slight forward lean. Moderate tanning and foxing to textblock.

Hardcover. 8vo. pp 208. Original publisher's green cloth, lettered gilt at the spine. The publisher's own retained copy with their stamp on the front endpaper reading 'file copy' and inked publication date, "12/2/1953". Front panel of jacket in good order showing a horse and tractor in the field and a gentleman resting his arm on a five bar gate. Very good indeed in very good dust jacket, with some edgewear.
