This collector's edition, put out by King's regular publisher, has illustrations by Matthew Diffee, a better binding, and the title on a wrap-around band affixed to the jacket flaps. As best I can tell, both the trade and limited collector's editions came out at the same time (or close to it). The collector's edition sold for $200, about seven times what the first edition cost at the time. It also came with a packet of 27 trading cards based on the illustrations used in this book. This novel was adapted into a television drama that aired for three seasons. [limitation leaf], xiv, 1074 pages. First edition (first printing, with a numberline ending in 1). A very near fine copy (a bit of spine curve) in a fine dust jacket with an unworn wrap-around band. The trading cards are present and still sealed. Signed by Stephen King, as issued.
