Pages are bright and clear with no visible markings. Binding throughout remains firm. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Mild scratching and marking to boards.

Light creasing of the lower corner, small scuffmark to the rear cover; overall, this copy is in good to very good condition. Presentation copy from Lawrence E Tanner, initialled by him on the front cover "H M N from L E T, 19/12/36". We think that H M N is Howard M Nixon, as the collection from this book came contained other books inscribed from Tanner to Nixon.

Condition: Fair. Academic offprint (softcover). 4to (29cm by 24cm), title, pp227-236. One plate, and a folding plan. Original printed blue card wrappers. Some creasing and chipping of the rear cover, light creasing of the corners; overall, this copy is just about in good condition. Presentation copy from Lawrence E Tanner, initialled by him on the front cover "H M N from L E T". We think that H M N is Howard M Nixon, as the collection from this book came contained other books inscribed from Tanner to Nixon.
