The authors, Kyle and Kerl, provide arguments for their proposals, costings, and two… signed, hand-coloured plans, showing the towns before and after implementation. Stock toned, with a little marking, but in general good order. Folded maps to rear show some offsetting from colour wash. Second map has short tear along one fold, but this minor. Victor Alexander Frederick Myddelton Biddulph [1860-1919] belonged to a family closely associated with the royals at Windsor, and Victor as a boy served as page of honour to the Queen, his mother having earlier been a maid of honour to her majesty. He seems to have passed his life at Windsor in some role of service to the royal family and died there in 1919. Condition: Neatly rebacked with later endpapers, Neat early stamps of Chelsea Public Library to the plates and title page, else as very good clean copy. Signed by Author(s).
