Just about like new--no wear, clean, unmarked, with a few barely visible imperfections and no marks or writing except the following: Volume 3 has a few very faint slightly dark spatters on cover, a few small minor light brown spots on outer and upper page edges; volume 4 cover is slightly frayed at bottom and top of spine, first few pages of "Tempest" have a little faint light blue pencil underlining.
