Hard Cover. Condition: Very Good. Limited. Hardback, paper label to spine. 25.5cm x 19cm. 41pp. Frontis. With inscription on front free end-paper, 'To Prof. G.E. Bentley, jr. With the compliments of Bursho Jugaku,' who was a colleague of Denis at Konan University and an expert on handmade paper, who also directed and designed the printing and binding of this book. No. 385 of a limited edition of only 400 copies, signed by D. J. Enright underneath the portrait frontis. Spine ends a little frayed to head and bumped to tail. Private ownership. (ac12). First Edition. Signed, limited edition, no.78 of 400 copies - signature is beneath frontispiece photograph. Cream board with gilt decoration to cover. Published without dustwrapper. Label inserted at rear with title and author - possibly for cover. Spine slightly snagged at head otherwise a VG copy.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. Limited Edition. Privately printed for the author by the board of directors of Konan University Kobe. No. 76 of a print run of 400. Signed by Enright below his portrait on the frontispiece. Printed on Japanese hand-made paper. Original tissue wrap heavily worn with multiple tears, creases and significant loss. However, this has protected much of the cover from sunning and discolouring: light sunning to front and back, with a significant (but faint) area where the wrap has been creased in on itself. Title label to spine, with replacement label tipped in to rear. Internally bright, with no further marks or inscriptions. Further details available on request. (Ud1). Signed by Author(s).

Limited to 400 numbered copies (this being #170), signed by the author at the base of the photographic portrait frontispiece, designed by Bunsho Jugaku and printed on specially made handmade paper. 4to. 41pp. Paper-covered boards with a paper spine label (and a spare tipped-in at the rear) and a small gilt-stamped vignette to the upper board. A little light uneven tanning to the boards and a small bump to the lower gutter. Very good indeed. Lacking the unprinted tissue protector but with a sheet of acetate supplied. Laid-in is a slip from the same paperstock, printed in Japanese and presumably a compliments slip. A one-page preface by the author precedes thirty poems, twelve of them hitherto uncollected and the remainder selected from his two previous collections. Signed by Author(s).

A few light bumps along the edges, very near fine in a very good glassine dust jacket, toned, with a few chips and tears along the edges. Signed and Inscribed to Michael Curtis on the frontispiece by the author, and numbered 29 of 400 copies. With a "Compliments of Chatto & Windus (of which Enright was on the board of directors)" slip laid in, Inscribed by Enright. "A Farewell Edition Privately Printed for the Author by the Board of Directors of Konan University, Kobe, Japan.".

In addition, this is a presentation copy, inscribed by the author on the half-title page: ''For Barbara & Francis - Dennis. Berlin 1956''.
