Buckram. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. Rebound by library in heavy decorative cloth. The book has the normal library markings and attachments. The tanned pages have a few small soil spots and some pages with pencil underlining and margin marks. There is some light soiling and a few pencil marks on the page edging. Pages are rather marked with pronounced tanning and foxing, plus thumbing. Slight gutter cracking. Hinges are cracked with exposed netting, and binding is shaky. Marked pastedowns. Old Xmas card glued to front endpaper. Sporadic intense foxing to pages, plates. A few small edge tears to a few pages. Boards have heavy edge wear, with intense bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are very crushed and frayed. Scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Several minor dents to board edges.
