A long retired Librarian selling my personal collection of approx. 2000 old and vintage books on many subjects and by many 'creative' writers also, though very, very few are Ex Library, which I abhor. Collected over the last 60 years or so,with an emphasis on good condition and scarcity. I aim always for the highest standards in packaging, mailing times and accuracy of item description. To date, I have had almost nothing but praise for these. Two comments stand out as typical. " The book was exactly as described " and " The packaging of the book was almost bombproof " Oh, and by the way, the packaging is almost 100% recycled. This is a down sizing exercise and and every book is very moderately priced for that reason, even so, feel free to contact me via ABe if you disagree. Postage is at cost,with a modest extra cost for the quality packaging but the stated general mailing costs are only a simplified version and the exact cost and method will be given to you in advance of your lodged payment.

For U.K. orders, payment by you direct BY PAYPAL, CHEQUE (CHECK), BANK TRANSFER or INVOICE for payment on receipt by arrangment is preferred, or even cash by post.For Overseas orders, PAYPAL, INTERNATIONAL BANK TRANSFER,(IBAC,) or paying by CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD VIA ABE's External Service Payment, (ESP) is acceptable however, particularly for OVERSEAS ORDERS..UNITED KINGDOM ORDERS.
Postage is extra at cost, Packaging costs are included in this charge. In every case I will inform you in advance of mailing of the costs of sending high value, heavy and oversize items and any necessary insurance costs and ask which method, speed of mailing, or alternative Courrier you prefer, although I am unfamiliar with the latter.
For UK orders, I would normally mail by Royal Mail, UK tracked, 48, particularly for Small Parcels (up to 2 kg in weight)OVERSEAS ORDERS
Postage is extra at cost and the items will be sent by the the most economical rate, (usually by Royal Mail), or by a Courrier of your choice who provides adequate insurance (compensation) I will advise you in advance of the costs involved for these.
I aim to despatch confirmed orders within 2 days maximum.All items are packaged to a high standard and the illustrations of all books have been collated and are perfect unless otherwise stated. The texts of older books have also been collated also. Thus, you may be confident of receiving a complete copy.Communication by e-mail is much preferred as I am seveerly deaf and recordee messages are replied to by a family member.
