First edition, the author's own copy, with his annotations. Three volumes. Bound in the publisher's dark blue cloth with gilt decoration to the covers, lettered in gilt. With a manuscript note by the author explaining the genesis of the book and holograph corrections throughout. A very good set. The extremities of the binding is slightly rubbed. Spines cocked.
