Pictorial dustwrapper, a few tears, chip to head of spine, moderately soiled, not price clipped. Light foxing to first and last pages and foredge. 259pp. London, Hutchinson,� Inscribed in ink on the front free endpaper: "To Harry with best Xmas Wishes from his friend & fellow author Teddy. 1946".� � The autobiography of Admiral Evans, known by then as "Evans of the Broke", written after World War Two.� "Evans served as second officer aboard the relief ship Morning�(1902-4) during Scott's�Discovery�expedition. His narrative of the ship's two voyages (pp. 41-74) which contains extracts from his diary, is an important compliment to Doorly's�The Voyages of the 'Morning'. Evans mentions Scott's 1910-13 expedition only in passing (pp.80-82), not surprisingly since that expedition was the subject of�South with Scott" (Rosove). � Rosove, 118.

Standard international shipping is by Royal Mail tracked international, and priority international shipping is by FedEx.
