(London: Shenval Press 1946). First UK Edition. SIGNED IN RED BIRO ON THE FRONT COVER BY MERVYN PEAKE. Original plastic comb-bound in semi-stiff printed turquoise and orange printed wrappers. Includes, inter alia, 2 colour lithographs by Mervyn Peake from "Ride-a-Cock Horse" in an article entitled "The Book Illustrations of Mervyn Peake". VG indeed. Not issued with a D/W. Illustrations in black and white and colour (including 8 by Kate Greenaway). Exceedingly uncommon to find, signed by Mervyn Peake. Photographs/scans available upon request.
