[Dystopian fantasy] FIRST EDITION, first impression. Octavo (19 x 14cm), pp.[12] 370 [2]. With 10 black and white cartoons by Low. Publisher's red cloth with gilt titles to spine. Bound upside down. With the dust-jacket also illustrated by Low, priced at 3/6. No inscriptions, edges toned, some soiling to cloth, jacket chipped, toned to spine. A university don, seeking the patronage of a rich man, is possessed by the spirit of a Fascist leader during a séance, who overthrows the British government in a coup and starts a war against America as a consequence of attempting to conquer the world.
