A very nice example of the first printing of the first edition. Original cloth hardback in original dust wrapper. The dust wrapper is not price-clipped, showing the original 7s 6d price to the inside front flap. The dust wrapper is in attractive condition with wear and creasing to the edges, fading to the spine, and loss to the spine ends (see pictures). The book itself has a little bumping and fading to the spine ends (see pictures). Light browning to prelims. Internally clean and free of inscriptions. Binding sound and square. A very nice example of the first printing in the original dust wrapper.
