Octavo: xx, 266 p. with more than 250 illustrations by Bourdelin, Thomas, etc., including a color wood block relief print. In an exquisite dark violet publisher's binding designed by William Harry Rogers, with gilt-stamped ruled borders, floral decorated spandrels, and a central armorial device with flowers and distilling apparatus.
