1st Ed. x + 423pp. 22 plates, 131 figures. Age toning, original black lettered maroon cloth, gilt lettered spine, some marking and fading, sm. dent to fore-edge of lower board. From the Library of P. A. Martin a noted researcher historically associated with the Process Research Department at Allied Breweries (Production) Limited located on Station Street in Burton-on-Trent. He is well-known in brewing science and microbiology literature for his work during the 1970s and 1980s regarding yeast flocculation, finings, and the vitamin nutrition and status of Zymomonas species.
