142 pages with a few illustrations. Foreword by P F Warner. Not dated but Padwick reveals first published in 1927. Part autobiographical; part mentoring; part on his cricketing colleagues. Book in poor condition - binding a little cocked; covers faded and/or discoloured; covers bumped at edges and corners; an untidily written gift dedication on front free end paper; a few marks internally; some foxing marks on edges of text block.
