Formerly the property of Brighton reference library, with a label to the front pastedown of each volume and small ink stamps to each issue. The bindings are firm, the cloth is slightly marked, bumped and rubbed. The magazines look to have been trimmed or guillotined to the edges to make them suitably even for binding, they are slightly marked, with some creasing, grubbiness and damage to covers, 15 of the front covers are present but the April 15th Susan Moncur front cover is missing, there is foxing to the edges of the text blocks and the endpapers, some short closed tears and damage to page edges, also dog-eared page corners. Robust, tactile volumes, weighing roughly 10kg the pair, and quite handsome on the shelf, Brighton Library having gone to the trouble to have them bound in good quality cloth, containing hours of entertaining reading and a wealth of inspiring, aspirational fashion and design ideas.
