First edition thus, first printing. Original yellow quarter cloth with illustrated boards and silver on black titles to the spine, in slipcase. Illustrated throughout with colour and black and white photographs. A fine copy, the binding square and tight, the contents clean and bright throughout. Complete with the fine slipcase. A classic piece of science writing which first introduced chaos theory to the public. It was a finalist for both the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award.
