Text pages are toned but clean interior. No inscriptions. A good copy. Rare First edition (1929) issued by the Cornwall Federation of Women's Institutes, Truro. Approximately 60 pages of recipes following by 5 pages of ads for various businesses in Truro. Each page has a one line quip as a footnote, such as "Better wait on cook than on doctor", "New Dishes beget New Appetite", "Gluttony Kills more than the Sword", and "They that can't schemey must Louster".
