[Furniture, Upholstery and Interior Design] FIRST EDITION. Quarto (27 x 22cm), pp.viii; 220 [2]. Complete with 152 engraved plates, many bound in the wrong order, including 38 hand-coloured. Contemporary black half calf, with gilt titles and decoration to spine and marbled paper over boards. Recently re-backed in black calf, with the original gilt-decorated spine laid over. Moderate toning and spotting throughout. Occasional areas of heavy browning, and occasional pencil notes concerning the placement of the plates. Restored to an attractive, robust condition. Very good.
