Contemporary black half calf, with gilt titles and decoration to spine and marbled paper over boards. Recently re-backed in black calf, with the original gilt-decorated spine laid over. Moderate toning and spotting throughout. Occasional areas of heavy browning, and occasional pencil notes concerning the placement of the plates. Restored to an attractive, robust condition.
