Armorial bookplate of Arthur Henry Davenport & booksellers ticket of J. Andrews, London on leading pastedown; Contemp. ink signature on front board. A nice copy. Lord John Russell, 1792-1878, was a Whig and Liberal politician who served as Prime Minister of Britain twice between 1846-52 and 1865-66.
