A first Folio Society edition, first printing of Collected Short Stories by Rudyard Kipling, published by The Folio Society, London in 2005, in five volume set comprising Volume One: Plain Tales from the Hills and Soldiers Three and Other Stories, introduced by Andrew Lycett, Volume Two: Wee Willie Winkie and Other Stories and Life's Handicap, Volume Three: Many Inventions and The Day's Work, Volume Four: Traffics and Discoveries, Actions and Reactions and A Diversity of Creatures, Volume Five: A Diversity of Creatures (continued), Debits and Credits and Limits and Renewals, all volumes illustrated throughout by Philip Bannister. A set of very fine books free from internal inscriptions, orange cloth bound graphically illustrated boards, gilt titling and similarly illustrated to the spines, text blocks are bright and crisp. In an orange paper bound pictorial slip case.
