Little, Brown and Company, 1919, xxiii, 127 b&w illustration plates, 282 pages. Book is NF, it is number 238 of a limited edition of 1200. This book appears to be unread. Binding is as tight and square as the day of publication. Original dark brown cloth over spine with brown paper over boards. Title and authors in gilt on spine. Gilt pin striping along borders of brown paper and also gilt top stain to pages. Boards are flat, corners are sharp and square. The back board shows signs of scuffing. Some signs of edge wear, particularly to bottom edges. Cloth at head and toe of spine has crimped but does not appear to be torn. The heavy deckled pages are complete, intact, unmarked and still bright. Several of the pages, particularly in the rear index remain unopened. End papers show some signs of foxing, particularly around the edges and in the gutters. Gutters are still intact. Interior pages show some signs of foxing around outside edges. Illustration plates are still clear and bright. There are two small lightly penciled notes on FE. LGYHC202012110. …

All of these listed items are being sold out of a private collection. Some of these are books collected in my lifetime but most are books I inherited and have grown up with since childhood. Large book collections can be a blessing and a curse. While they can be a source of delight, fascination, learning and sentiment, they can also be very cumbersome and difficult to maintain. It's time to lighten the load a little and share this collection with the rest of the book loving world.

Orders will ship within 2 business days (excluding weekends/Postal holidays) of completed/verified purchase. Books will typically be shipped by U.S. mail with tracking info. Posted shipping rates are based on assumed weight of 2.2 lbs/1 Kg. Heavier books will be noted in the description and will require additional fee. Special requests for carrier/expedited delivery are possible but will require an additional fee.
International orders typically ship by USPS 1st Class International Package service, with tracking info. This assumes a total package weight of less than 4 lbs.
