Bound in a contemporary full calf binding, with gilt borders to the boards. Bookplate inserted. Outer front hinge with a one inch split to the top and bottom, but still holding fine. A bit of wear to the top of the spine. Contemporary name and date [1809] to the engraved half title leaf, and also added in the same contemporary hand is 'Very scarce'. * Wood, pp. 34-35. Oliver 17.
