Original niger morocco by the Leighton-Straker Bookbinding Company, spines with raised bands and gilt lettered red morocco labels, red-coated endpapers, top edges gilt, others uncut. Printed in red-brown and black in Monotype Perpetua and Felicity types Wood-engraved decorations by Reynolds Stone. Some light sunning to sides, gilt a bit faded top top edges, generally a very good set. An excellent example of the Nonesuch edition of Rousseau's Confessions, with charming wood-engraved headpieces by Reynolds Stone.
