The first edition of this work on the Digger movement. The Diggers were a group of Protestant English agrarian socialists begun by Gerrard Winstanley and so called because of their attempts to farm on common land. In a cloth binding. Externally, smart with some light rubbing and bumping. Some dampstaining to boards. Library markings to spine and bookplate of the Manchester Friends Library to front pastedown.
