A first edition, first printing published by Constable and Company Ltd in 1962. A near fine book with one neat inscription to the head of the front endpaper. Off-setting to the front and rear end papers. Slight bumping to rear board. In a very good unclipped wrapper with slight chipping to the head of the spine. Some slight wear to the corners. F amously read on Jackanory by Dame Judi Dench and Cormoran Strike's favourite book (according to the TV series of 'The Cuckoo's Calling'). Rare. Seller Inventory # 13972
