First edition. With a dedication from the author tipped into the front end paper. Original cloth, with recent replacement spine and original labels laid onto the spine. Old bookseller description tipped into the inside board. With one folding plate and five lithographs (four coloured). Printed for private distribution. xii, 375 pages. Overall in very good condition, with just a little foxing. 270 x 190 mm (10¾ by 7½ inches).
