Landseer, Dickes, etc. Original green cloth decorated in gilt and in blind, with a peregrine falcon in gilt on upper cover. The author was a veterinary surgeon in London and Professor of Animal Medicine. On the front pastedown is the armorial bookplate of William Sandilands of Barny Hill. Spine and cover edges a little faded. Slight bruising to the edges. Very good indeed.
